Scott Smith, elected to the PERA Board of Trustees in 2022, is Chief Financial and Operating Officer for Cherry Creek School District 5.  He began his career in public service at Denver Public Schools.  He is currently past president of CASE Department of Business Officials and a Board member of the Colorado School Finance Project.  

Mr. Smith holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder and a M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
